Orient Capital, the global leader in share ownership analysis and identification, market intelligence, shareholder management technology, proxy solicitation, and debt services, and FB Group, established by Franco Bernabè, independent advisor to companies and banks, have today announced a strategic partnership.
This partnership provides opportunities for issuers across EMEA to benefit from a combination of Orient Capital and FB Group services. Orient Capital, part of Link Group, will be working closely with Franco Bernabè and Alex Bolis, partner for Management and Shareholder Services within FB Group.
This cooperation has already supported the first signed contracts to provide perception studies and shareholder identification. More opportunities are in the pipeline, across multiple sectors and countries.
The partnership sees Orient Capital continue to expand its international footprint, following the recent opening of its first office in India and the formal creation of limited companies in the long-established markets of Germany and South Africa.
For Orient Capital clients, they will benefit from an enlarged scope of services, supported by the experience in corporate transactions and solutions developed over the years by FB Group and its associates.
Alison Owers, Orient Capital CEO EMEA, said: “This exciting partnership continues Orient Capital’s expansion across Europe, a market we have thrived in for a number of years. With a well-established client base in France, Germany, and Switzerland, we look forward to expanding this footprint in Italy, building on the projects we have already completed.
“We are delighted to be working with Franco, who is such a well-respected figure in the corporate world, as well as Alex, a stalwart of the IR industry with an excellent past experience in investment banking. As well as working with them to support Italian Issuers, we know there is significant opportunity across the EMEA region and beyond to work together.”
Franco Bernabè, Chairman of FB Group commented: “Listed Companies face today unprecedented complexity, which is acting as an accelerator to many industrial and corporate processes. Special situations are becoming recurrent, calling for fast and well-informed decisions. Thus, investors must be more involved, while management need for agile and effective support is growing. Our cooperation with Orient Capital, a fine and global organization with many relevant customers, is aimed precisely at this.”
